Our history
Tradition, innovation and metals brought back to their shine
Founded in the 1950s in the heart of Valle Strona (VB), a region long tied to metalworking, Manzoni Engineering grew out of the insight of Gottardo Manzoni, an expert in cleaning and restoring metals, who decided to put his experience at the service of a craft industry destined to become a national benchmark.
The company originally specialised in the cosmetic restoration of cutlery, tableware and small metal items for restaurants, hotels and prestigious residences. Over the years, family management kept those craft values firm while moving towards new challenges, thanks to the arrival in the business of his son Mario, the key figure of the second generation.
It was Mario who, through solid relationships built with partners and clients in the Gulf countries, led the company to specialise also in the manufacture of industrial valves and the maintenance of oil and gas refinery plants, consolidating the presence of Manzoni Engineering in the energy sector and heavy industry.
Today, with the arrival of the third generation in the person of Gottardo Manzoni (the founder’s grandson), the company continues to innovate, integrating cutting-edge technology and extending its services throughout Italy and abroad.
